Minden City Farm Equipment Accident
There was a story in the paper today about a woman sustaining serious injuries in a Minden City Farm Equipment Accident on December 13 in Sanilac County. According to Michigan State Police, a 19-year-old Minden City woman was traveling north on Minden Road, in Minden Township near Charleston Road, when her vehicle was allegedly struck by an auger protruding from a feed trailer being pulled by a tractor. She lost control of her vehicle and struck the east ditch of the road. She had to extricated by the jaws of life. She was taken to Deckerville Community Hospital for treatment of her serious injuries. The tractor driver was allegedly cited for operating left of center. Police continue to investigate this accident.
I am very sorry to hear about this tragic accident and hope the injured woman has a complete and full recovery from her serious injuries.
