There was a story in the paper today about a man seriously injured in a Flint pedestrian hit and run drunk driving accident on February 7th in Genesee County. According to the Flint Police, a Flint pedestrian was seriously injured while he was standing on the side of the road reporting a hit and run accident he had witnessed at S. Saginaw and Damon Streets when he was allegedly struck by a car and thrown 40 feet. The driver fled the scene of the accident but later was allegedly found, allegedly intoxicated. The Flint pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his serious injuries. Police are still investigating this accident.

I am very sorry to hear about this accident and hope that the pedestrian recovers from this accident without any permanent injuries or deficits.

There was a tragic story in the news today about a man injured in a Flint pedestrian hit and run accident on January 18th in Genesee County. According to the Flint Police, a 29-year-old Flint man was walking in a parking lot near N. Chevrolet and W. Hamilton Avenues when he was allegedly struck by a vehicle, that did not remain on the scene. The Flint man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his serious injuries. Police are seeking any information on the accident and ask anyone with information to call them at (810) 237-6811.

I read a tragic story about a Genesee County Hit & Run Car Accident that shut down I-69 for several hours over the weekend. According to Davison Township Police, a driver and his passenger, in an MTA Your Ride car, were travelling on I-69 when their vehicle was allegedly hit by a minivan, near Irish Road. The MTA car was then run over by a motor-home that could not stop or avoid the car. The minivan left the scene of the accident.

The driver and passenger of the MTA car were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. The driver was released but the passenger is still there in serious but stable condition.
